BURN THE VEIL

We all have parts of ourselves we hide, ignore, or suppress. What we avoid often shapes us more than what we reveal.

Many of us have struggled to confront our emotions directly. Rather than naming them, It can be easier to gravitate toward colors, shapes, and sound, using sensory language as a way to translate what can be unfamiliar or overwhelming.

Burn the Veil began there, as a synthesis of sound, sight, and emotion. For me It became a lower-friction path toward understanding feelings that do not come easily. This project has become a space for processing, vulnerability, and connection. If it helps others recognize themselves in it, then it is doing what it was meant to do.
